Calling all Washington School Scientists
The Washington All School Science Fair is
Thursday, March 13th
The Science Fair is open to all Washington students, but it is mandatory for all 4th and 5th graders.
Please submit application and permission slip to your classroom teacher by Thursday, February 13th. All applications must have your name and signature, a title, a description of your project, and your parent/guardian’s signature. If you are in kindergarten, first, second, or third grade and working with another person, please be sure to list his/her name(s) on the bottom of the application. Every person involved in the project MUST turn in a permission slip. All fourth and fifth graders must complete this project independently.
The Science fair will be held Thursday, March 13th from 7:00-8:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. You must submit your entire project before school between 7:45 and 8:30am on Thursday, March 13th. All projects must be picked up after school on Friday, March 14th. Any unclaimed projects will be properly disposed of the Friday after the fair.
Science Fair Experiment Books are available for checkout from the Washington School Library for ONE NIGHT and must be returned the next morning so other students can also use them. These books will help you walk through the scientific method and give you ideas for fun and exciting experiments. If you need some pages copied, please ask your teacher.
Let’s get excited and create some fantastic projects. We can’t wait to see your work and hear about your learning.
Have fun and let's learn...
